At IPORT, our mission is to transform the use of mobile devices into professional business tools. IPORT, a leading manufacturer of enterprise hardware for Apple devices, is looking for a Business Development Manager to support our growing business with Apple ecosystem partners. This role will lead our sales team of resellers and channel partners. This role will also be responsible for building relationships with Apple resellers and supporting the Apple reseller sales team. We are looking for a self-starter who can build a strategic business with Apple, IPORT's most strategic partner.

Location

This role may be located at IPORT Headquarters in San Clemente, CA, or maybe telecommuted

  • Maintain existing customer relationships
  • Organize partner training
  • Manage Salesforce marketing and sales environments
  • Own and Convert Inbound Online Leads to SQL
  • Develop Channel Execution Strategies

Ability to Evaluate, Qualify and Prioritize, Customer Opportunities. Coordinates and collaborates with internal cross-functional groups including operations, demand planning, product development, marketing, and senior management

Leads and drives customer engagement to deliver the best results for program requirements Coordinates and manages SOW and item-level quotes.


How will you do it

Sales Operations – gain a solid understanding of the IPORT sales cycle and manage your business in Salesforce and other revenue generation tools prospects

Oral Communication - skill clearly, speak persuasively and ask for and provide clarification when necessary. Easy group presentations in meetings.

Written Communication - Clear and informative written communication with accurate spelling, grammar, and presentation of numerical data.

Teamwork - Contributes effectively to building team morale, values, and commitment to goals. Support overall team effort and success rather than self-interest. Balances team and individual responsibility by demonstrating objectivity and openness to others' perspectives and feedback. Develop deep relationships and build collaborative teams with channel partners to create a strong network of VARs and distributors.

Skills and Qualifications

Education and experience required

Education and experience - 4-year university bachelor's degree (B.A.), marketing, sales, or business administration preferred

  • If no 4-year degree, 5 years of related technical sales are required
  • Apple Solutions - Experience - Priority sale of Apple hardware solutions, services, or SaaS ecosystem
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce and LinkedIn
  • Navigator channels - Experience using SFDC and LinkedIn Navigator (or tools similar) in previous sales roles
  • Apple is essential iOS knowledge
  • Must use MAC and Keynote
  • Planned travel - requires approximately 25% travel. Travel to attend customer and/or partner events and provide authorized training
